My final Concours d'Elegance of the season was the Dayton Concours held at Carillon Park just south of the city. As was the case with many shows this year this one celebrated the birthday of the Mustang and did they manage to bring out some beautiful examples, such as this 1973 model.
There were so many Mustangs on display that they broke them up into numerous classes. Today I'm posting the 1964 through 1973 models. On display was a 1965 Fastback, a 1967 Fastback, an orange 1965, a 1964 model that was the actual pace car of that year's Indy 500, a 1966 model, a 1965 convertible, a 1965 model, a 1968, a 1966 Sprint 200, a 1967, and a rare 1964 "Shorty."
