Hound Dogs and Hot Rods

For the past few years right along the river, New Richmond has been hosting The Strut Your Mutt event where there are a lot of folks hanging out with their dogs as well as a number of organizations with booths set up to share everything from information to the chance to adopt a new dog.The event is very popular and has grown each year that it has been held.

People mingle, listen to music and many will grab something to eat or even shop in one of the places New Richmond has to offer there on the river, such as (here comes a huge obvious plug) the restaurant owned by my former neighbor and his wife, The Green Kayak.

This year, in addition to all of the other events, the Hot Dogs and Hot Rods car show was held and attracted a handful of pretty cool cars.
