American Performance at the Cincinnati Concours

The American Performance class at the Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance always brings out some serious muscle and a lot of people to view and appreciate these cars. This year's class featured a 1969 Pontiac GTO.
Another Pontiac GTO in this class was this 1970 Judge. It sported the 400 cubic inch 366 horse power V8 Ram Air III engine along with a Hurst shifter.
Most noted for his work with Camaros, Don Yenko also fiddled around with a few Corvairs. This 1966 Stinger was built for Yenko's personal use and to show off as a demo.
This 1969 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Coupe was outfitted with a 400 cubic inch,360 horse power V8 engine.
Here is a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that was totally restored in 2016 on its 50th birthday.
This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet sports a 428 cubic inch V 8 that ramps up 335 horse power.
On the field was a 1971 Pontiac Trans Am AM 455 HO. The number designation referred to the 455 cubic inch V 8 that lurked under the hood.
This 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Fastback is equipped with the R code option which means there are dual four barrel carbs breathing for the 427 cubic inch V 8.
This 1967 Ford Shelby GT 350 Fastback is still under the care of the original owner. It has rolled up only 8600 total miles.
A car that was originally built for racing homolation, this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 is powered by a 427 cubic inch V 8 that grunts out 425 horse power. It has been in the same family since it was ordered.
This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport had a full frame off restoration in 2015.
