Sport Classics at the Cincinnati Concours

The Sports Classic Class at the Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance is always filled out with spectacular examples. This year featured a beautiful 1963 Mercedes Benze 190 SL that was being shown after a restoration had been completed earlier in the year.
A very rare 1953 Fiat V 8 Coupe was also on display. This is one of only 114 of these cars ever built. It was bodied by Ghia. This car has won awards at other concours events.
Austin Motor Company in the UK built this 1954 Nash Metropolitan Convertible to be sold in North America. It has a small 1197 cc four cylinder engine that produces a mere 42 horse power.
There are only 36 1936 MG PBs in the United States out of the 408 that were actually produced, making this an extremely rare car. This car won best in class at Amelia Island in 2014.
Next to it was a more common 1953 MG TD. This was the last year of this model and this particular car, one of nearly 30,000 built, was one of the last one manufactured.
The only right hand drive Sunbeam Alpine in the United States is this 1954 Sports Roadster. Of the nearly 1600 of these cars built fewer than 200 exist today.
This 1959 Twin Cam Roadster was found in an abandoned factory in 2013. Only slightly more than 2100 of these cars were ever built and only 100 are known to still exist.
1959 was the last year for the Austin Healey 100 and this 100-6 BN 4 underwent a 30 year restoration that was completed in 2016.
This 1952 Aston Martin DB2 Sports Saloon is one of only 309 DB2s ever built. W.O. Bentley who went on to build his own car brand designed the engine.
Stored in a barn for 43 years, this 1959 MGA Roadster was given new life in 2015. According to the owner part of the clean up process involved Dawn dish washing detergent.
