The Pumpkin Run Nationals celebrated its 48th year this fall. Not only is this one of the longest running events in the region but it is also the largest. They set a record this year of 2200 cars and trucks preregistered and ended up with over 2600 for the three day event. What makes this even more impressive is that every one of those vehicles was from 1974 or before. Among them was a 1965 Mercury Comet, a restomod International Harvester 1010 Scout Traveler, a 1965 Rambler convertible, an Empi Imp, a Mercury Caliente, a Rambler station wagon, and a Studebaker Lark.
