The Annual Rollin' On the River Show at Fernbank Park nestled along the Ohio River is one of the region's largest events for the old car hobby. When over 500 vehicles show up there is little doubt that there will be plenty of MoPar vehicles on hand. MoPar got its name from the Motor Parts Division of the Chrysler Corporation and aficionados of the cars use it as a catch all term for all of the cars. Generally, though, it refers mostly to Dodge and the now defunct Plymouth lines. This Dodge Charger was one of the many MoPar rides on hand for the 33rd Rollin' On the River show. Also in the park that hot, sticky July day was a 1971 Barracuda, a Dart Swinger, a 1966 'Cuda, a SRT Demon, a 1969 Road Runner, and a 1970 Challenger R/T.
Whether they're the great classics, ultimate collectors, overlooked and forgotten, or even brand new cars I want to talk about them. Feel free to leave a comment or, better yet, drop me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com.
