The 31st Annual Bethal American Legion Post 406 Car Show

Most old car hobby events in the region rely on the Show and Shine Calendar to help promote themselves. The calendar covers multiple states and someone can generally find a local event just about every day if not weekend. But the Annual Bethal American Legion Post 406 Car Show, which saw its 31st edition recently, does not post in the Show and Shine. When asked about that, one of the organizers said that they didn't have to. In fact, the past couple of years saw close to 200 vehicles roll in for each show. This year was a little different as oppressive heat and the threat of rain kept the numbers very low. But that didn't hurt the quality. Among the cars on display was a 1973 Plymouth Satellite, a Willys Jeep, a 1963 Ford Falcon, a Mach 1 Mustang, a 302 Mustang, a 1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, and a 1966 Fairlane.
