Sport Classics Through 1959 at Ault Park

Following World War II, there was a large influx of foreign sports cars to the USA. Soldiers had gotten a taste of the European sports cars and wanted their own so countries in Europe started exporting cars to America and the American manufacturers came up with some home grown models. These Sport Classics Through 1959 class is always wonderful at the Ault Park Concours d'Elegance. A perfect example of a European import was this 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster.

Also on the lawn in this class was a lovely 1952 MG TD Roadsters, a 1954 Jaguar XK 120 Roadster, a 1953 MG TD, a 1954 Chevy Corvette Roadster, a 1952 Porsche 356 Cabriolet, and a 1960 Austin Healey Sprite.
