Thunderbirds at Ault Park
Another of the special display classes at this year's Ault Park Concours d'Elegance was a salute to the Thunderbird. The cars on display covered the history of this iconic line, from an example of the 11th generation such as this 2002 "retro" model all the way back to a very first generation T-Bird.
There was this 1989 Super Coupe which was the first supercharged T-Bird since 1957, a 1976 sixth generation which has been family owned since new, a 1966 one owner with only 36,000 original miles, a 1963 Landau Tripower 390 which is one of only 200 ever sold, a 1962 "M" Roadster, the only 1960 NASCAR spec model to ever race competitively, a 1959 "Square Bird" from the first year they were converted to four seaters, as well as a trio of first generation beauties.
