Some New Faces and Some Familar Faces Were At the Cruise-In For Our Youth

Almost any open car show is going to attract a lot of the "usual suspects" and generally will have a few different vehicles that aren't as well known. This was true for the 17th Annual Cruise-In For Our Youth show held at the Amelia Masonic Lodge. Held in order to raise money for the West Clermont High School scholarship program, the event drew over 80 fine vehicles to lot and lawn. Among them was a rarely seen 1957 Willys pick up truck. Known best for manufacturing the Jeep for both military and civilian use, in 1947 the company applied the hard working under pinnings of the CJ2A to a one ton pick up. The one seen here is a restyled second generation model. Also on display was a 1970 Chevy Impala, a Chevy Camaro Super Sport, a second generation or C2 Corvette, a Ford Mustang, a 1968 Pontiac GTO, a GMC pick up, and a slick paint job on a Ford F 10.
