There Was Something For Everyone At the Cruise-In For Our Youth

Variety is the hallmark of a good open car show. There was a little something for just about everyone at the 17th Annual Cruise-In For Our Youth show held at the Amelia Masonic Lodge. The event raised money to support the West Clermont Scholarship Fund and indeed brought out a nice variety of vehicles. In 1964 Chevrolet introduced a mid-sized car they called the Chevelle. Three generations carried the car through 1978. Early on the Super Sport was one of the most popular trims and the second generation car seen here is an SS model. Also at the show was a 1984 Chevette, a couple of seriously modified Bel Airs, a 1971 Ford Mustang, a 1969 Shelby GT 800, and a Pontiac Trans Am.
