Wrapping Up the Cruise-In For Our Youth

The 17the Annual Cruise-In For Our Youth got a break from the rain that Mother Nature had been giving and was brought in over 80 fine vehicles all to raise money for the West Clermont High School scholarship fund.Today's post is the last from this event. If you haven't been following, why not go back and check out all of the cars and trucks that were on hand. As always, feel free to leave a comment (no ads please) or drop me an email at turnerbudds@yahoo.com. In the mean time, enjoy these cars that include a magnificent 1963 Studebaker Avanti. Made from the summer of 1962 to the end of 1963, the Avanti was marketed as "America's only four passenger high performance personal car." In fact it was a last ditch effort by Studebaker to save the company which was floundering trying to compete with the Big Three from Detroit. Other cars on the lawn at the Amelia Masonic Lodge included a 1965 Chevy Nova station wagon, a 1937 Ford coupe, a modified Chevelle, a pair of Camaro Super Sport models, and a 1938 Ford Deluxe Standard.
