One of a Kind Boxter

            Mac McGregor owned a Porsche 911. So in a way it wasn't that much of a surprise when his wife bought a 2005 Boxter S while he was out of town on business. She wanted the optional GT Silver Metallic paint and the Sea Blue Standard Leather interior trim. It makes for a beautiful color combination.

As he was looking through various listings for Boxters he found it a little odd that he wasn’t seeing any other cars with that color combination. According to Mac, most of the cars with that exterior color had the black or brown interior.

Finally in 2006 he contacted Porsche Cars North America to ask how many cars were out there with this combination. What he found out was, his happened to be the only one. His wife was driving a one of a kind, #1 of 1 Porsche.

We saw this car at the 2011 Sharonville Chamber of Commerce car show, the show that traditionally kicks off the car show season. It was a dreary day that was threatening rain. Mac had considered driving and showing his 911 but the rain scared him off. Instead his wife let him show this one of a kind beauty.
