Better late than never, I suppose. Here is a blog entry all about this iconic show.
Each spring the Tri-State car show season is kicked off at The Loop in Sharonville. Traditionally held the last Sunday in April, this year’s show came off on May 1 so as not to conflict with Mother’s Day.
This was the 34th time that the Sharonville Chamber of Commerce has staged this event. In the past over 500 cars have been on display up and down Reading Road and in nearby lots. This year the rain kept away some of the potential exhibitors this year but that didn’t diminish the quality of cars on display.
As always there was a wide variety of cars being shown. Cars from nearly every decade lined the streets. And while most of the cars were from American manufacturers, there were a few foreign delights scattered about.
One great thing about the Sharonville show is it is the first time the Show and Shine calendar is available to buy. If you aren’t familiar with the Show and Shine calendar, it is like the reference book for all of the car shows throughout Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. This is a must for any car fan and it only costs $15. You can check out where the calendar will be on sale next at http://www.showandshinecalendar.com/.
While the Show and Shine calendar is worth the drive to Sharonville each year, the real reason is to wander the street and enjoy the classic works of automotive art that are on display. And enjoy we did. Here are some pictures we took at the show. Look for some of these cars at shows throughout the year and let us know which ones you like the best.
Well that's it for now. Check back because I'll be posting more pictures soon. In the mean time, click on the links below to go back to the Blog's home page or to check out some older Blogs. Enjoy.
