The tradition of a concours d'elegance event started in France in the 17th century when the rich and powerful would parade their fancy horse drawn carriages. As the automobile took over from the carriages so too did the concours events. The first being held in Italy in the 1920s with the initial USA event held in California in the mid 1950s. Recently a brand new concours took place, the DeVou Park Concours d'Elegance. As has become a custom with these events, modern sports cars are regularly shown off. DeVou was no exception. Among the cars on display was a 2017 Jaguar F Type, a 2023 Lamborghini Huracan STO, a 2014 Ferrari California, a 2014 Lamborghini Aventador, a 2012 McLaren MP4 12C, a 2014 Jaguar F Type, a 2011 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, a 2023 Aston Martin Vantage, a 2018 Lamborghini Huracan, a 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider, a Lamborghini Aventador, and a 2024 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS.
