Pre-War Classics At DeVou Park

 


The first ever DeVou Park Concours d'Elegance was held late last month in the park overlooking the Ohio River and the cities on both sides, Cincinnati and Covington. Like all concours events this one featured a number of fine pre-war classics. Among them was a beautiful 1934 Packard convertible Victoria with a body by Deitrich, a 1928 Auburn 8+15, a 1934 Plymouth PE, a 1940 Lincoln Continental that was a gift from Henry Ford to the actor Mickey Rooney, a 1928 Packard Phaeton 8, a 1932 Packard Twin Six Dual Cowl Sport Phaeton, a 1940 Packard 110 sedan, a 1937 Cord 812 Beverly, a 1926 Franklin Series 11A Victoria Coupe, and a
