Post War British Cars In DeVou Park

Following World War II, a lot of American soldiers came home having seen cars like they never had experienced before. The small, nimble British sports cars made quite an impression on a lot of returning veterans who wanted to own one. The British automobile industry managed to kick into gear and the fact that they could export large numbers to the USA helped restore the country's economy. The First DeVou Park Concours D'Elegance offered a class just for these special cars. Among them was a 1965 Lotus Elan S2, a 1962 Sunbeam Harrington LeMans, a 1964 Austin Healey 3000 MkII, a 1958 MG Magnette Z8 Varitone, a 1974 Triumph TR6, a 1959 Austin Healey 100-6, a 2005 Morgan Aero 8 Series 2, and a 1974 Triumph TR6.
