Vettes Went To the Hill

 

Just about everyone is familiar with the history of the Chevrolet Corvette. The two seater sports car was America's answer to the influx of European sportsters following World War II. My personal favorite Corvette story involved someone more commonly associated with another Chevy, the Camaro. Don Yanko was a race car driver, car dealer and car tuner. He notably raced in a C2 Corvette and I was lucky enough, several years ago, to get to take that very Vette around for a couple of laps. Ass kickin' car. Well that Vette wasn't on hand for the Headin' For the Hill car show in North College Hill but there were a number of others that were. Here are some of them.
